Following LGfL’s 2019 near-space Ohbot launch, LGfL primary schools trialled 80 donated Picoh robots to explore physical computing in the National Curriculum.
Participating pilot schools shared their materials and experiences, creating cross-curricular resources across maths, science, history, geography, and literacy to help educators integrate physical computing meaningfully into their teaching.
We have divided the Near Space Launch experience into chapters and with the support of our community of schools have created curriculum content that links directly to videos used within; you will find computing resources as well as a mixture of cross curricular links to support Maths, History, Geography, Science and English.
